Is Donatello a free AI image generator?
Yes. Free access with unlimited Relax Mode. No subscription required. Optional prepaid credits and automatic refill are available. An image request reserves eight credits, then charges the exact whole-credit rendering price and returns the unused amount. If credits are insufficient and no free activity is available, eligible compliant accounts can use lower-priority Relax Mode at no charge. A technical failure restores the full reservation automatically.
Can I use the AI image generator online?
Yes. Donatello runs in your browser. Open the Images page, sign in with Google, write your prompt and generate without installing creative software.
What is Donatello Image v1?
Donatello Image v1 is the image engine available inside the studio. It supports prompt-based generation and an optimized reference-guided workflow with up to four images.
Can I generate from reference images?
Yes. Add up to four JPEG, PNG, WebP or AVIF reference images for visual guidance. The final whole-credit charge follows the exact rendering cost, and uploaded references are deleted after 72 hours.
Can I use Donatello images commercially?
Yes. Images generated with Donatello Image v1 may be used commercially, including in client work, advertising, websites, product visuals, social media and monetized content. No separate model licence is required. This permission does not include using outputs to train another AI model. You remain responsible for having the rights to your inputs and for avoiding infringement of copyright, trademarks, privacy, publicity or other third-party rights. AI output may not be exclusive or eligible for copyright protection in every jurisdiction.
How long are generated images stored?
Generated images are available in My creations for 72 hours. Download anything you want to keep before the file expires; lightweight creation details can remain afterward.
